This is an unacknowledged fork of the popular Apache2 licensed [0] LobeChat, from a private github account. OP maybe doesn’t realize this?
The use of xposed/ magisk could either be some type of Android support (I don’t use it) or some type of Android rooting. Apache is a liberal license, fwiw
While not trying to disparage anyone, it occurs to me that ShowHN might be a great vector for drive-by theft of probably-high-value API keys (obv from users who try out your app)
I accidentally came across Lobe Chat on GitHub and was blown away—this open-source gem combines a slick AI chat framework with Xposed Magisk integration. It’s perfect for Android tinkerers who want a customizable, privacy-focused chat experience. Super lightweight and developer-friendly! Take a look: https://github.com/find-xposed-magisk/lobe-chat/tree/main. I’d love to see what the community thinks—contributions welcome!
